D.C. United and Audi have partnered for a sustainability-themed match at Audi Field.
Below are the sustainably minded efforts led by D.C. United and Audi that are tied to tonight's theme match:
- Electrify America: Audi will showcase its residential HomeStationTM charger and latest generation DC fast public charger, which are helping make the world a more sustainable place by encouraging electric vehicle adoption through access to charging infrastructure and education.
- One Tree Planted for Every Fan in Attendance: For every fan in attendance on April 29, a tree will be planted via ForestPlanet in support of a critical reforestation project on the Indian Ocean coast, funded by Audi.
- Fan Giveaway, Audi Drawstring Bags: Upon exit, 5,000 Audi-branded drawstring bags, which are made from 100% recyclable materials, will be distributed to fans at the Audi Field gates.
- Electric Vehicle Displays: Audi Field is home to three prominent vehicle displays showcasing some of Audi’s fully electric fleet. Near the Gate A and C entrances, fans can take a look at the new Audi Q8 e-tron, the Audi Q4 e-tron, and RS e-tron GT.
