D.C. United (2-8-5, 11 pts.) will head to Yankee Stadium to face New York City FC in their 16th match of the 2020 MLS Regular Season on Wednesday, October 7 at 8 p.m. EST.


This will be the second time the two teams have met in the 2020 season. In their last fixture, the teams drew 0-0 at Audi Field on September 6. United goalkeeper Chris Seitz made five saves in the match and helped the Black-and-Red keep their third clean sheet of the season. D.C. In New York City’s last match, they won 3-2 against Inter Miami thanks to three first half goals with a brace from Alexandru Mitriță and a goal by Anton Tinnerholm. They have earned 10 points from their last five matches and are currently in fifth place in the Eastern Conference with 23 points this season.
