D.C. United have announced that goalkeeper David Ousted will be placed on the Disabled List after undergoing nerve decompression surgery on his left elbow and is expected to miss six MLS matches. The operation was performed by Dr. Peter R. Thomas, who specializes in hand, wrist and elbow surgery at OrthoVirginia.
The Black-and-Red acquired Ousted from the Vancouver Whitecaps on Jan. 8, 2018 and signed him to a two-year contract in exchange for their natural second round pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft. This season, Ousted has made 17 MLS appearances (1,530 minutes), recorded 48 saves and tallied four wins for D.C. United.
