Midfielder Paul Arriola's brace in Audi Field's inaugural match secured three points for the Black-and-Red and a place on MLS' Team of the Week while Zoltán Stieber made bench for Week 20 of the season.

Arriola's two goals in the second half of the match put an exclamation point on the first win in Audi Field history, while Stieber's creativity led to two of United's three goals Saturday night.

Arriola found the back of the net in the 69th minute courtesy of a beautiful tic-tac-toe sequence that hit the midfielder in stride and in front of goal. With only Vancouver goalkeeper Brian Rowe left to beat, Arriola fired a shot that caught Rowe off the heel and into the goal to give the Black-and-Red a 2-0 lead.

The Chula Vista, California, native put the finishing touches on the win at the 80th minute when new teammate Wayne Rooney flicked a one-touch pass to Arriola who found the space to rip off a shot from the top of the box past Rowe to make it 3-0. The assist was Rooney's first in MLS in his first ever league appearance.

Meanwhile, Stieber chipped in with two assists, his first on Yamil Asad's opening goal and the second on Arriola's first goal.

It's the first time this season Arriola has received Team of the Week honors after making the bench twice this season, while Steiber has made the Team of the Week bench for the first time in 2018.
