Top-level experience

Stieber brings top-level experience with him to the District, having played in both the German Bundesliga and with the Hungarian national team. The 28-year-old has 21 caps for Hungary, including three appearances during the 2016 UEFA European Championship, and appearances throughout World Cup and Euro qualification. Stieber has also made 129 appearances in 2. Bundesliga, scoring 26 goals and recording 38 assists, in addition to his 50 appearances in Bundesliga, where he scored six goals and added six assists.

Versatility

While Stieber most often lines up as a left winger, the Hungarian's versatility allows him to play all over the field. Stieber has experience on the right, as a central attacking midfielder, a secondary forward, center forward and even as a left back. "He can finish," United captain Steve Birnbaum said of Stieber. "It's been nice to have him here, and I think it's brought the level up."
