Last Season Recap


April 30, 2016: 1-1 (Fire v. United)


United traveled to Toyota Park at the end of April last year and played to a 1-1 draw in the rain.  Patrick Nyarko, who United acquired in January of 2016, played in his first match against his former side and scored the Black-and-Red's only goal.



Aug. 27, 2016: 6-2 (United v. Fire)


United exploded for six goals against Veljko Paunovic's side in late August at RFK Stadium last year.  Luciano Acosta tied a club record for assists in a game (3) and Patrick Mullins scored his first professional hat trick.




Sept. 16, 2016: 2-2 (Fire v. United)


Rob Vincent scored his first career MLS goal against the Fire when United returned to Bridgeview, Ill., in September. Bobby Boswell scored his first goal of 2016 and 17th of his career in stoppage time to earn a road draw.
