United goalkeeper Bill Hamid is slated to miss six weeks after aggravating the lateral meniscus of his right knee during training in preparation for the U.S. Men's National Team January camp.

After withdrawing from camp, Hamid was operated on by Dr. Bert Mandlebaum, a physician with the USMNT, who performed arthroscopic knee surgery.
