In his second MLS season, Luke Mishu recorded a career-high seven appearances and five starts for the Black-and-Red. The 25-year-old played in four consecutive matches for the first time in his career against New York City FC (Sept 1.), New York Red Bulls (Sept 11.), Chicago Fire (Sept 16.) and Orlando City SC (Sept 24.). The versatile defender played on both the left and right side of the backline and won 88% of his tackles in seven appearances. Mishu also started nine matches on loan for the Richmond Kickers.
Mishu made 11 appearances (all starts) for USL side Richmond Kickers, recording one assist. He started twice in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup and started all four games in the 2015-16 Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League.
(2011-2014): Mishu copped second-team all-South Region accolades from the NSCAA for his play during the 2014 campaign. The durable right back played every possible minute this season, notching five assists while helping the Irish defense post six shutouts. Mishu, a fifth-year senior, earned second-team all-ACC honors this season after being a third-team pick in 2013. The team captain also was named to the 2014 Capital One Academic All-America Third Team. Mishu concluded his career with 12 assists in 75 matches (71 starts). In 2013, started at right back in all 23 matches in which he played, played every minute in each of those contests, earned third team all-ACC honors, selected to the NSCAA Scholar All-Region Second Team and the All-ACC Academic Team
