United Drives to Collect Soccer Equipment for Leveling the Playing Field

D.C. United's United Drives will collect soccer equipment to benefit Leveling the Playing Field (LPF) on Saturday, June 28 before United’s match against the Seattle Sounders at 7 p.m. Leveling the Playing Field works to give underprivileged children the opportunity to enjoy the pleasure of athletic involvement. The organization is collecting new or used soccer equipment for their program.

The United Drives booth is located outside of RFK Stadium’s Gate A and will open an hour and a half prior to kickoff, closing 15 minutes into the first half. Any fan that donates an item will receive a “Buy One, Get One Free” ticket voucher for any D.C. United regular-season home. Donations are accepted in the D.C. United offices on game and non-game days, located on the fourth floor, accessible through Gate A.

A D.C. United signature program, United Drives assigns a different charity drive for each month of the MLS regular season.
