Recent United acquisitions Oniel Fisher (defender) and Dane Kelly (forward) have joined the Jamaican National Team for their upcoming friendly against Antigua and Barbuda on March 25 in Kingston, Jamaica. With Fisher and Kelly being two of the newest pieces in the Black-and-Red roster, United fans will be eager for an opportunity to see the players perform on an international stage and showcase the talent they are capable of contributing to United this season.

Fisher has appeared in two matches for United, logging 180 minutes, while Kelly has yet to make his Black-and-Red debut. On Sunday, the defender and the forward will be hoping to earn their 15th and third caps, respectively. Fisher debuted for the Reggae Boyz in August of 2010 and started in four of Jamaica's six games in the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Kelly first appeared for Jamaica when he earned a starting nod against Canada on Sept. 3, 2017, and went on to score his first goal for his country against South Korea on Jan. 30, 2018.

Jamaica Outlook

Jamaica enter Sunday's match as the favorites, but will still be focused on piecing together a complete performance to sustain their winning streak over Antigua and Barbuda. The Reggae Boyz are 2-3-1 in their last six matches and have experienced their fair share of highs and lows—they upset Mexico 1-0 in the 2017 CONCACAF Gold Cup semifinal, then fell to the USMNT 2-1 in the final.

Despite their ups and downs, the Reggae Boyz should enjoy home field advantage in Kingston. In their last home match, Jamaica defeated Canada 2-1 on July 20, 2017, in the Gold Cup quarterfinals, and new United forward Darren Mattocks tallied two assists for the home side.

Antigua and Barbuda Outlook

Antigua and Barbuda enter Sunday's match pushing for an upset. The visitors are currently ranked 139th in the world according to FIFA, compared to Jamaica's 49th FIFA ranking. Despite the challenge that Sunday may pose, Antigua and Barbuda enter the match with some positive momentum following a strong 3-2 win over Bermuda on March 21. With a 2-1-0 record in their last three matches, a win over Jamaica in Kingston would be a major result for the visitors.

History

Jamaica have remained dominant over Antigua and Barbuda over the years. Most recently, the Reggae Boyz defeated Antigua and Barbuda 3-0 in 2014.
