D.C. United return to Audi Field this Saturday, August 29 for a matchup against Los Angeles FC in the club's 22nd match of the 2026 MLS season. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET in Washington, D.C. The Black-and-Red enter the weekend at 5-7-9 with 24 points and welcome a sold-out Audi Field for Black Out night, with Los Angeles FC making their first visit to the District in seven years.
D.C. United enter Saturday's contest off a 3-1 loss at Charlotte FC on August 22. Forward Louis Munteanu put the Black-and-Red in front in the 55th minute for his sixth goal of the season, but Charlotte answered with three goals in a 13-minute stretch through David Schnegg, Will Cleary and Pep Biel. Midfielder Jackson Hopkins is the lone member of the current squad to have faced Los Angeles FC in a Black-and-Red shirt, starting the 1-0 loss in Los Angeles four years ago, and forward Nathan Ordaz meets his former club after making nine appearances and scoring twice for Los Angeles FC earlier in 2026. D.C. United will look for a first win in the series in front of a sold-out home crowd.
