United defenders Steve Birnbaum and Taylor Kemp train with the U.S. Men's National Team during the annual January camp in California. The camp is Kemp's first-ever call-up to the national side, while Birnbaum enjoyed a breakout year on the international front a year ago, starting last January.
The U.S. play the first of two international friendlies against Serbia on Jan. 29 at Qualcomm Stadium before playing Jamaica on Feb. 3 in Chattanooga. Bruce Arena's side play their first World Cup Qualifier in the new year on March at home against Honduras.
