The Washington, D.C. area has a rich history of Hispanic culture, and so does D.C. United, from our players, past and present, to our supporters, now and always.

To honor and celebrate the Hispanic culture forever woven throughout D.C. United, we will host a virtual event and transform our digital properties, along with dedicating a match to recognize an important fabric of our club.

Hispanic Heritage Month Happy Hour: To kickoff Hispanic Heritage Month, the club hosted a Spanish-speaking Happy Hour live on its social media properties hosted by Claudia Pagán. Midfielders, Edison Flores, Ulises Segura, and Yamil Asad were joined by defender, Joseph Mora, to chat about their heritage and how important soccer is to them, their culture, and more.

Celebratory Brand Takeover. Beginning on October 8, D.C. United will transform our digital and social media properties with a celebratory red pattern to visually demonstrate the club’s collective support for Hispanic Heritage Month.

Hispanic Heritage Month Match on October 14. D.C. United have dedicated our October 14, 2020 match to celebrating Hispanic Heritage. On Noche Latina the club will acknowledge the heritage and culture throughout our online properties and within the broadcast of the match.
