D.C. United Announce Activities and Initiatives for Juneteenth Match Against Inter Miami CF

Audi Field returns to full capacity on Saturday, June 19 in advance of the D.C. United vs. Inter Miami CF match for the first time since March 2020.


In addition to celebrating a reuniting of our fans to our club, we will also be honoring the historical significance of Juneteenth on matchday. There will be several matchday events and activities for fans to enjoy.

Gates Open Early at 6:00 p.m. | Black Owned Business Market at 6:00 p.m. on Audi Drive


Black-Owned Business Market on Audi Drive

D.C. United have partnered with the Soufside Market to bring several Black-owned businesses to Audi Drive, beginning at 6:00 p.m. Fans will receive a tagged clear bag from vendors, which will allow them to bring their purchased items into the stadium. A list of the vendors is below.

Live Go-Go Music by the Spread Love Band located in Heineken Hall

The Spread Love Band will be performing live in Heineken Hall, which is located on the East Concourse near the Premium Entry, from Gates Open (6:00pm) to kick-off and then once again at halftime.


Heineken drafts will be available for only $5 from 6pm - 7pm to further the celebration.


Commemorative Juneteenth Scarf with Proceeds Benefitting Urban Alliance

Special edition Juneteenth scarves will be available in the Audi Field Club Shop on matchday with proceeds going to Urban Alliance to support their mission of equipping young people with the tools to overcome the systemic barriers that prevent equal access to economic opportunity.


Special Performance of the Black National Anthem

There will be a live rendition of the Black National Anthem (“Lift Every Voice and Sing”) prior to kickoff performed by Melissa Constantin of the Howard University Choir.
