D.C. United Small Business Pass

The D.C. United Foundation is proud to continue teaming up with Intentionalist to celebrate and support diverse local businesses in the DMV. Together, we are launching a season-long small business pass to provide fans with a fun and easy way to eat, drink and shop incredible local businesses that are Black-owned, Women-owned, Hispanic-owned, LGBTQ-owned, Asian-owned, Deaf-owned and Veteran-owned. Christmas on the Inside | December 2023

The D.C. United Foundation and Malloy Law teamed up with the Hope Foundation Reentry Network and DC Department of Corrections to bring holiday cheer to children and families which have a member who is currently incarcerated.

As part of the holiday party being hosted at Busboys & Poets Anacostia, 160 children from 51 families received items from their wish list as well as the holiday card from their family member on the inside.

House of Ruth Multipurpose Room Refurbishment Project  | December 2023

The D.C. United Foundation teamed up with Sherwin-Williams and Pepco to refurbish the multipurpose room at House of Ruth which serves the main programming space for the women who live at the transitional housing location. The project includes a complete makeover of the space including new paint, flooring, furniture, and decorations made possible by our incredible partners. Thanks to Aslin Brewery, toys were also gifted to the organization.

Back To School Bash | August 2023

The D.C. United Foundation joined forces with Serve Your City to host its Annual Back to School Bash and Youth Festival which brought the community together in celebration of the new school year! Distributing 2,000 adidas backpacks filled with school supplies and 500+ technology devices to DC youth, 450+ families had an afternoon of summer fun featuring music, youth performances, giveaways, snow cones, free resources, and assistance in filling out required school paperwork.

DC Mini-Pitch Reveal | July 2023

The MLS Works All-Star Community Day presented by Major League Soccer, D.C. United, the D.C. United Foundation, and the U.S. Soccer Federation officially unveiled a new soccer mini-pitch at Seaton Elementary School. Festivities included youth soccer clinics (led by D.C. United’s Academy Coaches), games, music, and MLS All-Star and Arsenal player appearances. For the dedication ceremony DC SCORES poet athletes led a poetry presentation to welcome the new pitch. As part of the celebration, the D.C. United Foundation also announced that it will build 10 additional mini-pitches now through the end of 2024 with the Clark Foundation and U.S. Soccer Foundation.

Peace For D.C.

The D.C. United Foundation is committed to community safety by donating $10,000 to local non-profit Peace for DC whose efforts focus on gun prevention work all across the city. This donation will directly support the DC Peace Academy.

D.C. United Foundation Equipment Sale | November 2023

The D.C. United Foundation hosted its annual equipment sale at Audi Field where Season Ticket Members and supporters had the opportunity to purchase discounted team-issued gear, player worn items, and limited-edition theme night items. Collectively raising over $31,000, all proceeds benefited the D.C. United Foundation.

DC SCORS x Screaming Eagles

Screaming Eagles Toy Distribution at Hendley Elementary School | December 2023

D.C. United and Screaming Eagles supporter group teamed up for its annual toy drive and distribution event benefitting DC SCORES poet athletes at Hendley Elementary School. Each student received two toys, along with a soccer ball thanks to generous support from the D.C. United Foundation and Screaming Eagles.
