Meet Phil Gordon, the dedicated Academy Head Coach for DC United's U17 age group, known for his exceptional coaching journey and commitment to player development. Gordon brings over a decade of coaching experience to the D.C. United Academy.
Gordon provides a wealth of coaching knowledge and has a rich playing background, having competed in the USL with Real Maryland and Crystal Palace USA and the PDL with IMG. His college soccer experience at Thomas University (GA) and time spent in Academy Football in Scotland and England have further enriched his soccer expertise.
In addition to his extensive experience, Phil holds a prestigious array of coaching licenses, including UEFA A, UEFA Elite Youth A, UEFA B, USSF Academy Director, USSF A, and USSF D, C, and B. His dedication to developing young talent and nurturing the game's future stars is unmatched.
