A busy two months for the Black-and-Red

Between the MLS regular season and CONCACAF Champions League (CCL), D.C. United had a jam-packed schedule in August and September. Despite the travel and schedule congestion, the Black-and-Red delivered 12 league points and three CCL wins.

After United's last match in of the stretch, a 1-0 win over the Philadelphia Union, Head Coach Ben Olsen tipped his cap to his squad.

"I can’t say enough about the group in general, how they’ve handled the last two months," Olsen said. "They’re tired. It’s been a long haul here. It was a hot day, fittingly hot after all that we’ve been through the last two months."
