After a 2-0 loss to Chicago at RFK Stadium back on May 8, the guys are hoping to get back the three points that were taken from them. Tonight's game at Toyota Park kicks at 8:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on Fox Soccer Channel and Fox Sports en Español. Don't have that channel? You can also tune in on the radio - the english broadcast can be heard on WFED 1050 AM or, if you prefer, you can listen on the Spanish Radio Network (1540 AM, 1390 AM, 1600 AM, 1350 AM).
Chicago is coming off a two-week break since their last game (a 5-1 drubbing of NYRB), while United's last full game was nine days ago - a 2-2 draw in New England. After tonight's game, the team has nearly two full months at home with three League games and at least three SuperLiga games all in the cozy confines of RFK Stadium.
To prepare for tonight's game, make sure you're caught up on all of the game previews:
- Steve Goff at the Washington Post writes about some hopeful signs.
- John Haydon writes about the team's road struggles in The Washington Times (though it appears he forgot about last week's draw in New England...)
- You can find the game preview and notes at dcunited.com right here.
- Len Ziehm writes about Tom Soehn returning home in the Chicago Sun-Times.
I'll back back later with lineups from Toyota Park.
