PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2016
In his fourth MLS season, Tissot continued to provide depth to the Montreal Impact midfield and defense. The Canadian made seven appearances, scoring one goal in 517 minutes played. In July 2016, Tissot signed with Ottawa Fury FC of the North American Soccer League. He made 19 appearances for the Canadian side, scoring two goals and recording two assists during his time in Ottawa.

2015
Tissot featured regularly in the Montreal Impact midfield during his third MLS season. He appeared in 11 matches for Montreal, starting seven games and logging 581 minutes. Tissot’s goal against the Columbus Crew in June propelled Montreal to a 2-1 victory in Columbus.

2014
Tissot enjoyed a breakout year in his second MLS season as the Impact went on to win their second consecutive Canadian Championship. The midfielder more than doubled his play time from 2013, earning seven starts in 20 appearances and logging 762 minutes in 2014. Tissot also netted two goals for the Impact—his first against the Portland Timbers in July and a second against the Philadelphia Union in August.

2013
Tissot signed his first MLS contract with the Montreal Impact in February 2013. The midfielder debuted for the club on April 14, 2013, when the Impact earned a 1-1 draw against the Columbus Crew. Tissot netted his first professional goal against the Chicago Fire in September, scoring in the 87th minute of the match to earn the Impact a 2-2 draw. The Quebec native appeared in six matches for Montreal during their Canadian Championship season.

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

2017

Tissot has appeared in one match for Canada. He earned 35 minutes of play time in a FIFA friendly against Bermuda on Jan. 22, 2017.

2016

In his second year with the Canadian national team, Tissot made three appearances and logged 189 minutes for his country. The midfielder also earned two starts—his first of the year against Mauritania in October and his second against Korea in November.

2015
Tissot made his debut and recorded his first international assist for the Canada Men’s National Team in a friendly against Iceland on Jan. 16, 2015. The midfielder made eight total appearances and earned four starts for Canada in 2015, including two appearances against Dominica in FIFA World Cup qualifiers and one appearance against Costa Rica in the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup.

Tissot received his first call up to the Canada Men’s National Team on Nov. 6, 2014, in preparation for a friendly against Panama.
