D.C. United Supporters' Groups

Learn about the different supporters' groups associated with D.C. United!

D.C. United has some of the most passionate supporters in the Major League Soccer. For years, La Barra Brava, Screaming Eagles, and District Ultras helped make RFK Stadium one of the toughest road venues in Major League Soccer. The only thing that has changed since moving to Audi Field is the addition of two new supporters' groups, Rose Room Collective and 202 Unique.Together they form and occupy the The Chico Stand (Sections 136 and 137) - as it is affectionally known as by all involved with the club in memory of lifelong D.C. United fan Chico Solares - which, is located in the north end zone and is a place for all supporters who want to stand, sing, and passionately support the Black-and-Red. All supporters' groups are welcome here and new supporters' groups are encouraged to join. These sections are also open to supporters who are not affiliated with any particular group.

D.C. United, DC SCORES and the Screaming Eagles partnership unites a shared passion for enriching the communities in the District through sport. As part of the partnership, the Screaming Eagles and DC SCORES aim to implement a D.C. United Supporter Development Academy prior to the inaugural match at Audi Field in and bring underprivileged youth to United games cost-free. The partnership will extend outside the stadium as well as the Screaming Eagles will deepen their already strong relationship with DC SCORES, the official charitable partner of D.C. United. Together, the three organizations will work to serve the youth of Washington, D.C., by kindling a passion for soccer through supporting neighborhood teams that give kids the confidence to succeed on the playing field, in the classroom, and in life.

Why is it called the Chico Stand?

In the summer of 2021 members of all five official supporters' groups came together and made a formal request for the club to officially name the supporters section the "Chico Stand," The club wholeheartedly agreed with this request and the new name was announced on September 14, 2021.The inspiration for "The Chico Stand" comes from a lifelong D.C. United supporter, Javier 'Chico' Solares, who played an integral role in establishing the supporter culture of our club when we were founded in 1996. It is thanks to people like Chico. He embodied the passion for the sport, the togetherness of the group, and most of all inclusivity. The belief that everyone is welcome in the stands. The stand will forever lovingly be known as the Chico Stand.
