United midfielder Luciano Acosta has been named to MLS' Team of the Week for the seventh time this season after scoring a goal and three assists in two games last week. Acosta played a central role in United's 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Minnesota United last Wednesday, and Sunday's thrilling 3-3 draw against the New York Red Bulls.

The Argentinian has been the creative maestro for the Black-and-Red scoring seven goals and five assists in his last 10 games as United push for the playoffs.

Acosta started his week with two key assists in United's comeback win over Minnesota on Wednesday. The 24-year-old helped set up Ulises Segura's second-half equalizer before providing a wonderful long ball for Joseph Mora that eventually led to Darren Mattocks' dramatic game-winner.

On Sunday's rivalry match against the Red Bulls, Acosta worked his magic again when he threaded a clever pass to Paul Arriola for the game's opening goal.

Acosta then brought Audi Field to a frenzy when he scored on a beautiful chip over Red Bulls' goalkeeper Luis Robles to give United the lead in the 87th minute. The goal was nominated for MLS goal of the week

This is the seventh time this season that Acosta has earned Team of the Week honors. The full team can be seen below.
