Background:
Durkin became United’s eighth Homegrown Signing on June 14, 2016. He started his career in the D.C. United Academy and was the fifth-youngest Homegrown Signing in the history of MLS when he signed at 16 years and 127 days. He made his first Black-and-Red appearance in the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on June 15, 2017, against the Fort Lauderdale Strikers. Durkin made his MLS debut for United in the 1-1 draw against Orlando City on March 3, 2018.

Background:
Harkes became United’s ninth Homegrown Signing on Jan. 13, 2017, after winning the MAC Hermann Trophy as a standout at Wake Forest University. Harkes made his MLS debut for the Black-and-Red on March 12, 2017, against New York City FC. He scored his first goal for the club on July 4, 2017, against FC Dallas and went on to score two goals and record an assist in 25 appearances last season.
Harkes is the son of former D.C. United and USMNT legend John Harkes.

Background:
Now in his fifth season with United, Birnbaum has become a stalwart in the Black-and-Red backline. He was selected second overall in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft and has become a prominent figure in the United locker room. He was a 2014 MLS Rookie of the Year finalist and his MLS performances led to a call-up to the USMNT. He has scored one goal in 11 appearances for his country.

United acquired Fisher on Feb. 7, 2018, after the Jamaican defender played three seasons with the Seattle Sounders. Fisher has extensive experience with Jamaican National Team and has 14 caps for his country.

Background:
United acquired Mullins on July 20, 2016, from New York City FC. The former University of Maryland standout and two-time MAC Hermann Trophy winner has scored 13 goals for the Black-and-Red since his transition back to the DMV. Last season, Mullins scored four goals in a half on the way to becoming the fastest four goal scorer in MLS history and the first to score four in a single half. Mullins shared the 2017 D.C. United Golden Boot award with midfielder Luciano Acosta after scoring five goals last season.

Background:
Jeffrey joined the Black-and-Red in 2013 after starting his professional career for Mainz in Germany. The midfielder is one of the longest tenured players in the nation’s capital and has made 66 total appearances for United. In 2017, Jeffrey scored a goal and recorded an assist in 23 MLS appearances.

Background:
United acquired goalkeeper Steve Clark as a free agent on Aug. 17, 2017. The former Columbus Crew goalkeeper started in the Black-and-Red's final five matches of the 2017 MLS Regular Season. The goalkeeper produced an MLS Save of the Year nomination with his scrambling effort to keep out two-time Golden Boot winner Bradley Wright-Phillips in the match against the Red Bulls on Sept. 27, 2017. During his three-year tenure in Columbus, Clark posted 22 regular season shutouts and missed only two matches. He also made at least 110 saves in all three seasons in Ohio, finishing second, second and fourth, respectively, in all of Major League Soccer. In 2014, Clark was named Crew SC’s Defender of the Year and was one of only five players in MLS to play every minute of every match.

Background:
DeLeon is the longest tenured player at D.C. United after joining the Black-and-Red as a seventh overall pick in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft. His performance in his debut season earned him a 2012 MLS Rookie of the Year nomination. Since then, he has made over 150 appearances for United and helped the team capture the 2013 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup championship. DeLeon has appeared in at least 19 MLS regular season games each season since 2012 and has scored 13 goals and recorded 15 assists for the Black-and-Red.

Background:
United acquired the Great Dane in the offseason transfer window. With over 140 MLS appearances to his name, Ousted is one of the most experienced goalkeepers in the league. When he signed for United he was fifth in shutouts, eighth in saves and eighth in appearances for active goalkeepers in MLS. The Danish goalkeeper made his Black-and-Red debut in the 1-1 draw with Orlando City on March 3, 2018.

Chris Odoi-Atsem

Background:
Odoi-Atsem was selected 12th overall in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft. The Mitchellville, Md., native was a standout at the University of Maryland where he made 86 total appearances. In his rookie season, Odoi-Atsem made nine appearances for the Black-and-Red. He made his debut for United as a 90th-minute substitute in the 3-1 win against Atlanta on April 30, 2017.
