Bruno Miranda called up to Bolivian National Team for World Cup Qualifiers

United forward Bruno Miranda, 19, has been called up to the Bolivian National Team ahead of their 2018 World Cup Qualifying games against Brazil (Oct. 4) and Uruguay (Oct. 10). Bolivia are currently in ninth place of the South American Football Confederation’s (CONMEBOL) 2018 World Cup Qualifying group.


Miranda has three caps for the Bolivian National Team and last appeared in La Verde’s friendly against Nicaragua on June 3, 2017. The Santa Cruz de la Sierra native has made one appearance in Bolivia’s 2018 World Cup Qualifying campaign, coming on as an 89th minute substitute in the 2-0 win against Argentina on March 28, 2017. He made his international debut in a 4-0 loss against the U.S. Men’s National Team on May 29, 2016.
