United hosted Columbus Crew SC on March 18 and fell 2-0 to Gregg Berhalter's side. The Black-and-Red created numerous chances, but couldn't break through against Zack Steffen and Crew SC's back line. The offense was bolstered by the return of Luciano Acosta, who made his 2017 MLS debut after signing permanently for United in the offseason.
