D.C. United midfielder Perry Kitchen is on pace to reach the 8,000-minute mark at New England on Saturday. If he reaches this mark, he would be just the second player in League history age 21 and under to achieve this feat, with Eddie Gaven logging 8,000 minutes by age 19.

Dwayne De Rosario, Nick DeLeon and Chris Pontius were all in the starting lineup in United’s 2-2 draw with the LA Galaxy last weekend, marking the first time all three started a game together since June 2. In fact, the trio have only been in the same starting XI four times total this season (9/14 vs. LA; 6/2 @ CHI; 3/23 vs. CLB; 3/16 @ NY).

D.C. United put seven shots on frame in last weekend’s 2-2 draw with the defending MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy, the second-highest mark for the squad in 2013. The Black-and-Red also out-possessed the Galaxy, keeping the ball for close to 60% of the game.
Passing Accuracy
At 71.2%, D.C. United had the highest passing accuracy in the attacking third in MLS during the month of August.
