D.C. United midfielder/forward Syamsir Alam has been called into the Indonesian U-23 National Team training camp ahead of the 2013 Southeast Asian Games. Alam will report to camp on July 20th and remain with the squad through August 24th. The 2013 SEA Games are set for December 11-22 in Naypyidaw, Myanmar.
The 21-year-old has yet to feature for D.C. United in an MLS match, but logged 17 minutes for the Black-and-Red last Friday in a 1-1 tie against Chivas de Guadalajara at RFK.
