D.C. United to train in Washington for three days prior to next pre-season trip

Preseason huddle - 2013 - 620x350

Following a 13-day pre-season trip to Bradenton, Fla., at the IMG Academy, D.C. United will return to the nation’s capital on Monday for three days of training. United will then depart on Thursday for its next leg of pre-season, which will take place near Orlando, Fla. There, at the Disney Pro Soccer Classic, the team will face off against the Tampa Bay Rowdies, Sporting Kansas City, the Montreal Impact and the Philadelphia Union over the course of 17 days.

In just over a month, the Black-and-Red will open its 2013 MLS season at BBVA Compass Stadium to face the Houston Dynamo in a rematch of last year's Eastern Conference Finals.
