Former United defender Brandon Prideaux today announced that the 2009 season will be his last in Major League Soccer.  Currently a member of the Chicago Fire, Brandon played for United from 2002-2005, helping D.C. to an MLS Cup in 2004.  As a member of the Black-and-Red, the gritty defender made 116 League appearances (106 starts) totalling nearly 10,000 minutes.

Brandon is still close to many within the organization and I know that I speak for us all in wishing him well.  United supporters will get a first-hand opportunity to show their appreciation, as well, this Saturday when "Brando" plays at RFK for, perhaps, the final time in his 12-year professional career.

If you don't have have plans to be at RFK yet, please join us!
