Someone is going to have to put in a stellar performance Saturday night to wrestle Man of the Match honors from Francisco Tobar. United's team administrator has already provided quality work in juggling the team's travel plans and seeing that all 24 members of the travel party to Los Angeles in proper manner for this weekend's first place match-up with Chivas USA.
Tobar learned this morning that the club's flight, American Airlines flight 263, had been cancelled. Jumping to action, he was able to place players and staff on two seperate flights this evening that will deliver everyone to the West Coast tonight.
Thanks in large part to Tobar's quick work, the club will gather, en masse, tomorrow for one last training session in advance of the Chivas USA showdown.
