Nothing But Nets Fun-draiser!

Who likes fun?  I know I do!

Ben Olsen and others will be on hand this Wednesday at Garrett’s of Georgetown to raise money and awareness for the Nothing But Nets Challenge, a four-team contest featuring Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, and D.C. United.  The Nothing But Nets initiative was founded by the United Nations foundation in an effort to fight Malaria in Africa, where 3,000 children die each day from the deadly disease. For just $10, a family of four can sleep under a medicated bednet for up to four years.

Come and enjoy watching the U.S. Men's National Team take on Trinidad and Tobago. While there, fans will be entered into a raffle featuring many items donated by local sports organizations as well as organizations within MLS.  Items include autographed balls and jerseys.  Garrett's will be offering $3 domestic drafts and $2 Gin & Tonics as part of the event.

Cover charge for the evening is just $5, but limited to fans 21 and over (because of the booze).
