Another honor for Jeff Agoos

Jeff Agoos is at it again.  Having been previous inducted to the D.C. United Hall of Tradition and elected by the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame, the former United defender is to be honored by the Virginia-DC Soccer Hall of Fame.


The Virginia-DC Soccer Hall of Fame will honor seven area soccer personalities in its annual Induction Luncheon ceremony at Virginia Youth Soccer Association’s (VYSA) Workshop in Crystal City on Saturday, January 24.   The Hall, co-sponsored by the Metropolitan DC/VA Soccer Association (MDCVSA), annually recognizes leading soccer personalities in the Virginia-DC area. There are currently 51 Hall inductees. Past inductees will also be recognized at the VYSA Luncheon.
Established in 2001, the Soccer Hall reflects the dramatic growth of soccer in the Virginia-DC metropolitan area with over 200,000 youngsters now in organized leagues in DC, Virginia, and Montgomery County along with thousands of adults in local amateur leagues.
Induction into the Soccer Hall is the highest award soccer bestows on players, coaches, officials, administrators, and the media in the Virginia-DC area.
