D.C. United's Scotiabank CONCACAF Champions League run ended in the quarterfinals for the second consecutive year, falling 3-1 on aggregate to Querétaro F.C. of Liga Mexico's Liga MX.  The Black-and-Red's sole goal came in the 84th minute, when German rookie Julian Büscher unleashed a knuckling shot from well outside the penalty area, darting past los Gallos' goalkeeper Tiago Volpi.  United now turn all preparation towards the first match of the MLS regular season against the LA Galaxy on Sunday, March 6.

  • Goalkeeper Andrew Dykstra started and played all 90 minutes of all six SCCL matches, the only United player to do so.
