United's penultimate match of 2017 has an official kickoff time of 7:30 PM ET. The Black-and-Red travel to Portland, Oregon to take on the Timbers in their last road match of 2017 before returning to the nation's capital for their last game at RFK Stadium on Oct. 22.
D.C. are 1-2-1 against the Timbers on the road and haven't won since their first visit in 2011. Last season, United defeated the Timbers 2-0 at RFK on Aug. 13 behind goals from Steve Birnbaum and Luciano Acosta.
