D.C. United travel to Stade Saputo this Saturday, August 15 for an Eastern Conference matchup against CF Montréal in the club's 19th match of the 2026 MLS season. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET in Montréal, Quebec. The Black-and-Red enter the weekend at 5-5-8 with 23 points, unbeaten in five straight matches, and look to claim their first road win since May. 

D.C. United enter Saturday's contest off a 2-2 draw with Eastern Conference leaders Nashville SC at Audi Field on August 1, a result in which the Black-and-Red erased a two-goal halftime deficit. Defender Silvan Hefti scored his first career MLS goal in the 56th minute, volleying home from eight yards after Nashville goalkeeper Brian Schwake pushed out a Louis Munteanu header, and forward Tai Baribo equalized in the 77th for his team-leading 11th goal of the season and his fourth in four consecutive matches. Head Coach René Weiler's side has taken points in 10 of its last 11 matches and is 2-2-5 on the road in 2026. 

CF Montréal enter the weekend at 4-10-4 with 16 points, 14th in the Eastern Conference, and are coming off a 2-2 draw with the New England Revolution at Stade Saputo on August 1. The hosts trailed 2-0 at the interval before defender Brayan Vera struck from outside the box in the 52nd minute and forward Prince Owusu headed home a Luca Petrasso delivery in the 59th. Those were CF Montréal's first goals since the FIFA World Cup break, ending a run of three consecutive scoreless matches against Toronto FC, Nashville SC and Inter Miami CF. Owusu leads the club with 10 goals and five assists in 2026, and midfielder Wikelman Carmona has added four goals and four assists. Goalkeeper Thomas Gillier has made 15 starts with four shutouts. 

Saturday's match is the second and final meeting between the two clubs in the 2026 MLS regular season. The all-time regular season series is level at 10-10-12 across 32 meetings, with D.C. United holding a 43-38 edge in goals. The Black-and-Red are 4-7-5 in Montréal with 16 goals scored and 21 conceded, and last visited Stade Saputo on August 16, 2025, drawing 1-1 in a match in which midfielder Jackson Hopkins scored his first career MLS goal. D.C. United will look to extend their unbeaten run and take three points on the road.

Forward Tai Baribo restored the two-goal cushion in the 51st minute, and captain Lucas Bartlett headed the Black-and-Red back in front in the 87th for a 4-2 advantage before CF Montréal scored twice in stoppage time to level the match. D.C. United will look to go one better on the road on Saturday.
