What to Know?

This weekend, D.C. United will visit fellow playoff hopefuls, Charlotte FC at Bank of America Stadium in North Carolina.

Coming off a hard fought draw at home last weekend against San Jose, the Black-and-Red are looking to bounce back into the win column and earn three points that would create much needed separation between them and the rest of the playoff-hunting pack.

While the from Sept. 9 finished 0-0, that doesn't do justice to the chances created by D.C. United's attacking play. Christian Benteke saw a header cleared off the goal line, and youngster Ted Ku-DiPietro was all over the field, creating numerous chances with a wide range of finessed passes between Earthquake defenders. Creative midfielder Gabriel Pirani, on loan with a purchase option, had a goal called back due to offsides after the referee used VAR to take back what would have been Pirani's first D.C. United goal.
