Lamar Neagle has won AT&T Goal of the Week for his goal against the New England Revolution on Saturday. The Washington state native's right-footed volley in the 20th minute opened the scoring for United, finishing a Luciano Acosta cross across the face of goal and past New England 'keeper Brad Knighton.
The goal was Neagle's third of the year and his first since April 23, when the Revolution traveled to RFK for the first time. The versatile attacker, who is tied for second on the team in goals, shots, shots on goal and tied for first in assists, was also named to the MLS Team of the Week.
