Mohamed “KingCJ0” Alioune Diop, D.C. United’s eMLS professional, will represent the United States for the 2021 FIFAe Nations Cup after finishing in second place in the FIFAe Nations Cup 2021 North America Qualifiers. He will also be competing in the final round of the North America Playoffs as he seeks qualification for the FIFAe World Cup taking place this summer.

The FIFAe Nations Cup will take place on August 20-22 and will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark. It is FIFAe’s official inter-nation competition featuring the world’s best nations in EA Sports FIFA 21. KingCJ0 and Fiddle will represent the United States and compete in a 2v2 format against the other 23 best teams from around the world to be crowned the FIFAe Nations Cup Champion.

KingCJ0 and Fiddle, FC Cincinnati’s eMLS professional, teamed-up in the FIFAe Nations Cup North American Qualifiers after making the U.S. eNational Team (USeNT) by winning the Xbox bracket of the U.S. Soccer eNT Open back in April. Their second place finish was enough to qualify the pair as one of the teams competing in the FIFAe Nations Cup.

The Black-and-Red’s professional eMLS player is also in the final round of qualification for the FIFAe World Cup that will take place in August. The Knockout Round, which features sixteen of the best players in North America is scheduled for June 18-20, with the top two players advancing to the World Cup competition.

“I can’t wait to represent the United States this summer at the FIFAe Nations Cup and hopefully at the FIFAe World Cup as well,” KingCJ0, said. “Coming in second in the whole region in the Global Series has given me the confidence that I’ll need for the North American Playoffs to help me qualify for the FIFAe World Cup, the pinnacle of esports.”
