D.C. United to Participate in 2027 Coachella Valley Invitational

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Oct. 13, 2026) - D.C. United will participate in the 2027 Coachella Valley Invitational (CVI) powered by Fundamental, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California from January 30 to February 13, 2027. The Black-and-Red will use the competition as part of its preseason preparations for the 2027 Major League Soccer Sprint Season. 

D.C. United will join 10 other MLS clubs in this year's CVI, including Austin FC, Charlotte FC, LAFC, LA Galaxy, Minnesota United FC, Portland Timbers, San Diego FC, San Jose Earthquakes, St. Louis CITY SC, and Toronto FC. The Black-and-Red's CVI match dates and times are still to be confirmed, and the clubs full 2027 preseason schedule will be announced at a later date. 

Passes for the public are now available at coachellavalleyinvitational.com. Additional details including match schedule and media accreditation process to be released in the coming weeks.
