WASHINGTON, D.C. (Aug. 7, 2026) - D.C. United has loaned defender Conner Antley to the Tampa Bay Rowdies in the United Soccer League (USL) Championship through the end of the 2026 MLS season.Â
Antley returns to his former USL club after spending the last three seasons with the Black-and-Red. He joined the Black-and-Red in February 2024, signing a two-year contract through 2025 with an option for 2026 that the club exercised this past November.  Antley made his D.C. United debut on Feb. 24, 2024, recording an assist in a 3-1 win over the New England Revolution.  His first season with the club was cut short when he suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during a 3-2 win at Atlanta United on May 11, 2024. He returned to the field in 2025 and logged 1,349 minutes in league play.  The 31-year-old has made 31 appearances across all competitions for the Black-and-Red, recording one goal and two assists across three seasons.Â
The defender originally signed with the Tampa Bay Rowdies on Dec. 29, 2020, from USL Championship side Indy Eleven and spent three seasons with the club, recording 14 assists in 102 matches across all competitions. He helped Tampa Bay claim the 2021 USL Championship Regular Season title, making 31 appearances and tying for the team lead with six assists. In his final campaign with the Rowdies in 2023, Antley appeared in 35 matches, including two Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup matches and one USL Championship playoff match, finishing the year with three assists and ranking fourth on the team with 25 created chances.Â
