D.C. United defender Brendan Hines-Ike underwent surgery on his foot on Thursday, Aug. 11, to repair a Lisfranc injury; a mid-foot sprain.Â
Dr. Robert Anderson of Bellin Health Titletown Sports Medicine and Orthopedics in Green Bay, Wisconsin, performed the surgery.
Hines-Ike is expected to be sidelined for approximately 4.5-6 months as he completes rehabilitation.
