Major League Soccer and D.C. United announced the complete schedule, including broadcast details for the 2022 MLS season. The Black-and-Red kickoff their 2022 season against expansion side Charlotte FC on Saturday, Feb. 26 at Audi Field with kickoff set for 6 p.m. ET. D.C. United matches will be broadcast live in English on NBC Sports Washington and in Spanish on TeleXitos. All D.C. United matches are also available at no cost for those located within the local market at www.dcunited.com.

Fans can purchase season memberships to secure tickets to the home opener in addition to all 17 matches at Audi Field in 2022 by clicking HERE. The 2022 home schedule includes 12 matches on Saturday in 2022. Single-game tickets will be available for purchase in early February.

As previously announced, to best align with the 2022 international soccer calendar, the MLS regular season will begin earlier than ever before, kicking off on Saturday, Feb. 26 and running through Decision Day, the regular season finale, on Sunday, Oct. 9. The Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs directly follow the regular season, with three consecutive weeks of action leading up to the 2022 MLS Cup on Saturday, Nov. 5, more than two weeks prior to the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar on Nov. 21.

The 2022 MLS regular season broadcast schedule features the largest network coverage in league history. A record 48 matches will air on network television across ABC, FOX, Univision and UniMás. D.C. United have four nationally televised matches in 2022 with the first on Saturday, June 18 when they take on Chicago Fire FC at Soldier Field on UniMas. The Black-and-Red will feature on ESPN twice in 2022 with the first match on June 25 against Nashville SC at Audi Field and the second against the Philadelphia Union on July 8 at Subaru Park. D.C. United will round out their 2022 nationally televised coverage with UniVision in their match against Atlanta United at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Aug. 28.

In addition, ESPN+ will stream all regional broadcasts nationally, out-of-market, in the U.S. and any nationally televised matches not aired by an English-language network will again be streamed live in English on Twitter.

Decision Day 2022 Sets the Stage for Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs

In a culminating day of action on Sunday, October 9, all 28 teams will face intra-conference opponents on Decision Day in a battle for playoff spots and seeding. In two back-to-back broadcast windows on ESPN/ ESPN Deportes and FS1/FOX Deportes, each conference will see their games kick off simultaneously to determine who is in and who is out of the Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs. TSN and TVA will provide coverage of regular-season finales throughout Canada.

This year’s edition of Decision Day saw 11 teams remaining in contention for six final spots – three in each conference – entering Decision Day 2021. Kickoff times and broadcast details will be announced at a later date.
