Russell Canouse and Bill Hamid have been named to MLS' Team of the Week following Saturday's 1-0 win over the New England Revolution—the Black-and-Red's third consecutive victory.

In his third start with D.C., midfielder Russell Canouse continued to provide United with an injection of energy thanks to his impressive work ethic. Canouse played a full 90 minutes for his third match in a row, ending the night with 36 completed passes, one tackle, and one foul won. The Lancaster, Pa. native has already made United's midfield more formidable with his size and vision. Against the Revs, Canouse continued to show off his two-way ability, remaining feisty and aggressive on defense and helping spur build-up play on the attack.

Bill Hamid also logged another impressive performance, earning his third consecutive shutout for the first time in 2017 and the second time in his career. Hamid saved all four of New England's on-target shots, again helping Ben Olsen's side stave off an opponent desperate for an equalizer. In addition to his three straight clean sheets, the goalkeeper has now also made back-to-back Team of the Weeks.
