Mayor Muriel Bowser, D.C. United, and the District of Columbia invite fans and media members to join the club on April 25 at the site of the club’s future home in Buzzard Point to witness the first steps of the demolition process in preparation for the groundbreaking of the new stadium.


The event, which is open to the public, begins at 11 AM.  United’s new home, tentatively called D.C. United Stadium, will seat 20,000 people and be located near Nationals Park, off Potomac Ave. SW.


The event will be held at Second and S St and limited parking is available.
