Goal: Asad scores his second of 2018

Yamil Asad has officially earned his first MLS AT&T Goal of the Week honors in the Black-and-Red! The midfielder's 30th minute strike against Columbus at MAPFRE Stadium last weekend showed off the Argentine's cool ability to pick a spot and finish, and Asad took home 52% of fans' votes in Goal of the Week voting.

Asad's score in Columbus was his second in four matches—the midfielder now has two goals and one assist in his first four games with United. This is Asad's first-ever MLS Goal of the Week nomination, and the first Goal of the Week nomination for the Black-and-Red in 2018.

Other Week 4 nominations included Portland's Sebastian Blanco, New England's Diego Fagundez, Sporting Kansas City's Diego Rubio, and New York Red Bulls' Bradley Wright-Phillips. Congrats, Yamil!
