Last night, D.C. United battled hard in a 2-1 loss to Montreal. After Marco Di Vaio found the net just before halftime, Conor Doyle netted the equalizer for the Black-and-Red in the 81st minute. As Luis Silva dribbled at the Impact’s backline, Doyle kept his spacing, forcing Hassoun Camara to either step to Silva or track Doyle’s run. Silva took another touch, making Camara step to him, and the crafty playmaker slipped the ball through the gap, putting Doyle in on goal. Doyle lifted his head and finished far post with top-class technique.
