VW Keys to the Match: D.C.United's game-plan for Saturday at New England

Nick DeLeon at New England - 2012

On Saturday night, D.C. United visits Eastern Conference foe the New England Revolution. The Black-and-Red is in search of its first victory since March, and is about to face a tough side who have flown under the radar until recently. Here are your keys to the match:

Stop the homegrown hero
New England's first-ever homegrown player, Diego Fagundez, leads the team in goals and is tied for second in assits. If D.C. United can shut down the 18-year old forward, a clean sheet is within our reach.
Behind enemy lines
Newly signed midfielder, Sainey Nyassi visits his former club for the first time since his departure. Nyassi, who spent six seasons with the Revs, will be an assett in breaking down their defense with an insider's perspective.
Hamid's return from National Team duty
The young keeper is fresh off a short stint with the US Men's National Team Camp. Playing alongside one of the top goalkeepers in US history, and a talent he admittedly looks up to, has Hamid energized to be back with the Black-and-Red.
