Two late Marathon goals - one from the penalty spot - were the difference as United fell in Honduras 3-1 Tuesday night in its first match in Group B play of CONCACAF Champions League. After the Hondurans went ahead midway through the first half, Emilio drew D.C. even early in the second. Marathon tallied twice in the final ten minutes to secure the win.
United will return to DC late Wednesday evening and turn its focus towards Saturday's big match at RFK Stadium versus the LA Galaxy. Its next Champions League game comes next Wednesday at home versus Mexican side Toluca.
