MLS game #29: DCU vs. New England

Are we really down to the last two games of the MLS regular season?  It's hard to believe.

Tonight is a must-win game for the Black-and-Red as the New England Revolution visit RFK Stadium.  United currently finds itself on the outside of playoffs looking in, but a win would put them in good position to clinch a spot in the final week of the season (when it travels to Columbus to take on the Crew).  Tonight's game is set to kickoff at 8 p.m., but coverage on ESPN2 begins with a half-hour pre-game show at 7:30 p.m.

A moment of silence will be observed before tonight's game in memory of Danilo Diron, while the players will wear black armbands in his honor.  You'll also notice a black bunting hanging from the mezzanine level above sections 308 and 309 - this is the booth where Danilo called many of his more than 400 United games for Radio America.

At halftime tonight, Jeff Agoos will become the third player inducted into D.C. United's Hall of Tradition, joining John Harkes and Marco "El Diablo" Etcheverry.  The induction will take place at halftime.

Anyone care to make a prediction for this all-important game?  You'll have a shot at winning two tickets United's Oct. 29 game against CD Marathon - the last in CONCACF Champions League play - if you guess correctly.  Heck, I'll also throw in an autographed player card of your favorite United players.  Get it.
