Tickets for D.C. United's huge game versus the Charleston Battery in the U.S. Open Cup final are now on sale. The game is set for Wednesday, September 3, at RFK Stadium (7:30 p.m. ET).
I'm not sure about you, but I'd really like to see the team lift a championship trophy. I joined the team early in 2005, so I narrowly missed celebrating the 2004 MLS Cup. Yes, I've seen a couple of Supporters' Shield trophies - and those are a great testament to the solid teams we've had the last two years - but, I badly want to see a championship win. This is a great opportunity to add our 12th major trophy to the most crowded trophy case in Major League Soccer. Let's get another, eh?
