A whole buncha updates [now updated!]

Lots to tell you about in advance of tomorrow's game:

  • Don't forget that all parking tomorrow (D.C. United vs. the Chicago Fire!) is complimentary (that means free), courtesy of our new partner, Volkswagen. They're awesome.
  • Before the first team game, the United Academy U-18 team will play Potomac in a game that is open to fans who have tickets for the first team match. Kickoff is set for 4:45 p.m. (ET!).
  • Tomorrow's kickoff time is set for 8:02 p.m. ET due to ESPN2 hosting a half-hour pre-game show beginning at 7:30 p.m. That just means more time for tailgating!
  • Prior to kickoff, a moment of silence will be held for Gordon Bradley and Bill Goazio - who worked for many years with the U.S. Soccer Federation - both of whom recently passed away.
  • At halftime, United President and CEO Kevin Payne and legend Marco 'El Diablo' Etcheverry will be inducted (among others) into the Virginia-DC Soccer Hall of Fame. A number of past inductees will be on hand to welcome the newest members. More info here

If you don't yet have tickets for tomorrow night's match click here or pick them up tomorrow at RFK Stadium.

UPDATE: Per a request by Bill Goazio's family - in lieu of flowers, friends and family can make a donation to the U.S. Soccer Founddation in Bill's honor.  Checks should be made payable to the U.S. Soccer Foundation (or you can make a secure donation here).
